County clerk, former Lake sheriff ticketed for passing stopped faculty buses: police

Emergency personnel responded to a scene of a collision that killed three kids crossing SR 25 as they had been boarding their faculty bus north of Rochester, Ind., on Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2018. Indiana lawmakers have revised a invoice that will set up cameras on faculty buses to catch and punish motorists who go illegally to deal with considerations that anybody would possibly revenue from the laws. The amended invoice bars colleges or digital camera distributors from being profitable from the digital camera enforcement and requires the fines collected for use to pay for digital camera tools. The invoice comes after six-year-old twin brothers Xzavier and Mason Ingle and their nine-year-old sister, Alivia Stahl, had been struck and killed by a pickup truck as they crossed a northern Indiana highway to board a college bus in October.
