SURFSIDE BEACH — Weekends on the seaside are cherished recollections for a lot of residents of Brazoria County, which is why it’s so necessary to maintain the seashores clear, members of the Save Our Seaside Affiliation stated.
In an effort to assist these efforts and assist the Save Our Seaside Affiliation, the group is internet hosting its Treasures By the Sea and Fly By Kite Present fundraiser from 10 a.m. to five p.m. Saturday at Stahlman Park, 2211 Bluewater Freeway, Surfside Seaside.
“(The Save Our Seaside Affiliation) is a nonprofit in Surfside that’s devoted to sustaining the seaside and (preventing) erosion points, and so Treasures By The Sea will elevate cash by renting cubicles out to distributors,” board member Rob Sales space stated.
The occasion is a neighborhood effort, which is greater than 5 years within the making, Sales space stated.
With native distributors popping out to showcase their baked items, artistic endeavors, beach-themed decor and extra, all funds will go to the nonprofit group and be used to assemble Christmas bushes to assist the stabilization of dunes and hold the seashores clear.
